The Digital Readiness Blueprint

Your systems don’t talk to each other. We map exactly where, and we hand you the plan.

A fixed-fee, three-week, vendor-neutral technology assessment for nonprofits: every system mapped, every cost verified from your own invoices, every need on the record, all turned into a roadmap your board can approve. The document belongs to you. Take it to any vendor, including not us.

Sound familiar

Three sentences we hear from almost every leadership team.

“Our tools don’t talk to each other. The same information gets typed into three or four places.”
“Reports take days to assemble, and nobody fully trusts the numbers.”
“One person holds it all together, and none of it is written down.”

What you receive

One assessment. Artifacts you’ll use the same week.

01The board-ready decision deckThe headlineEight to ten board-ready slides with full speaker notes, built for the meeting where this plan gets funded. Yours to edit and present as your own; we join if you want us there.
02The Blueprint reportTwo parts, one document: your current state and findings, then recommendations and a 12–18 month roadmap, sequenced by the priorities your team stamps, not ours.
03The systems interconnection mapA one-page picture of how data actually moves between your systems today, including every place it is re-typed by hand.
04The requirements registerEvery need your team voiced, numbered and sourced. Hand it to any vendor and their discovery phase shrinks by weeks.
05The costed systems inventoryEvery tool, its real annual cost from your invoices, its owner, its renewal date. This is the worksheet you will reuse every budget season.
0630-day quick winsThe items that cost little and land the week after delivery. Assessments routinely surface recoverable spend; the Blueprint pays for part of itself.

How it works

Three weeks. You confirm everything before it becomes a plan.

Week 1 · Listen

Your team talks; we capture.

A kickoff call, a short intake, and three to six recorded stakeholder interviews with leadership, programs, operations, and finance.

Week 2 · Verify & score

Your numbers, not our estimates.

You verify the systems list and costs from your own invoices. We map every connection, score four domains against our rubric, and draft findings.

Week 3 · Confirm, then plan

Findings first. Plan second.

We present findings at a readout and you confirm or correct them in writing before a single recommendation is written. Then the full Blueprint, delivered and walked through.

Nothing reaches your board that your own team hasn’t confirmed.

Fit

Built for a specific kind of organization.

The Blueprint is for you if

  • You’re a US or Canada nonprofit or association with a $500K–$10M operating budget
  • You run six or more systems, or nobody is quite sure how many
  • Data about the people you serve (members, donors, clients, volunteers) lives in more than one place
  • Leadership is prepared to act on what it learns

It’s not for you if

  • You want someone to simply pick software for you this week
  • You need emergency IT support today
  • You’re already mid-implementation with a partner you trust

Choosing an implementation partner

The Blueprint’s requirements register shrinks any implementation partner’s discovery phase. That is what vendor-neutral means in practice. If you choose Kloudserv, that saving is contractual: the assessment fee is credited against the implementation, because you shouldn’t pay twice for discovery already done.

Next step

A 30-minute discovery call. Your fixed fee, quoted on the call.

We’ll ask about your systems and what’s hurting; you’ll leave knowing the exact fee and timeline. No proposal cycle, no follow-up sequence. Not ready for a call? Take the 3-minute Readiness Scorecard.
